    Not sure about the joy of ‘Fahrvergnügen’ (maybe they wanted a subtitle with Umlaut), but glad to see that ‘Germany is becoming a career destination for many researchers’!

    Congrats, Alfonso!

    @AMartinezArias

    Proud to have received an @ERC_Research award in the UK, which makes the most grantees in this year’s awards, thus showing how much the UK & Europe have to lose from a bad resolution of the current situation #IAmEuropean #NoBrexit

    Thanks Lucas - yes, practically next doors plus there’s a bunch of excellent ML and bio researchers at Zurich 😀

    @lucaspelkmans

    @fabian_theis @HelmholtzMucEn Congratulations Fabian. We really should talk about building an alliance with the Zurich area through @LogicofLife_CH 😀 We’re practically neighbors 👍

    Man, we had quite a few laughs about this one. For me it rhymes with numpy, so yeah .. a bit of a stretch. But an Italian colleague assured me that they prefer the scampi rhyme. At least we have an animal, right? 🦐

    @arnavm1

    @fabian_theis Wait, is scanpy supposed to rhyme with "scampi" or "numpy"? Have I been pronouncing it wrong all this time!?

    @chris_penfold

    @fabian_theis I like that this reply still works even without the original tweet. Although now it reads as though a chunk of Helmholtz will be working on getting that original tweet back up and running
